Rant #1 – A Strangely Busy Time                     Back To Rants | Home

Wow! It’s my first rant! What do you know… No big deal, right? I finally have time to write my first update for the first page! Drawing and putting together a comic is much more difficult than it appears! Well, not so much complicated, but more time consuming than anything. It seems like it took me less time to draw the sketches for the comic than to put all the different pictures together with word balloons and text. Blah! That’s all I have to say about that! I give anyone credit who can update their comics a few times a week. Its rough! Time seems so limited. And life is hectic. It has its ups and its downs. Of course we all know that, everyone does. …and I don’t want to get a psychological or anything at the moment.

But I am going to say I’ve been busy, I haven’t had time, and I am working on comic number two as we speak. Come on, I’m in the middle of watching the Neon Genesis Evangelion series… yes, all 26 sweet episodes on my high quality (or not) vivo player! It’s all Matt’s fault, though. He lent them to me! And this just proves that I have no time, otherwise I would have every single one of those juicy Eva episodes in my head and memorized (every word in Japanese… there are subtitles) by now.

After reading the novella Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad I’ve come to realize, well, my comics are way to bland! I need to get a bit more graphic. More savage! The horror! Ahaha! Expect something more dark and sinister for the next comic maybe. *wink* Did I mention there will be a plot eventually? I hope. We’ll all find out soon I suppose.

I was going to end this rant like that, but I can’t help but mention the awful terrorist attacks that have swept over America yesterday. I know mentioning things may seem redundant, but its life and people have to know about these things. I’m keeping all those who have suffered from the attacks in my prayers, and I hope that all of you will do the same. Thank you.
